What is “Halo-Halo”
Halo-halo is a popular Filipino cold dessert. It ’s Philippines parfait. Halo means mixing in Tagalog. A wide variety of ingredients are used based on shaved ice and milk, including various fruits, sweetly boiled beans and potatoes, ice cream, jellies, nata de coco, tapioca, coconut, pudding, and processed rice and corn products.
I found it interesting that the Halo Halo for toppings is depending on the several shops in Manila. My favorite one is some juicy fruit.
