A long time ago, Myanmar was under British rule.
At that time, Rangoon (now Yangon) was developed as a “garden city” by the British.
Even today, the town still retains many remnants of the British rule era and buildings from that time.

A typical example is The Strand Hotel.

The Strand Hotel is a historic hotel that is a member of the world’s leading hotel association.

We traveled to Myanmar in the fall of 2019.

We drunk “Strand sour 1968” (Mandalay Rum, Lime juice, Sugar, Bitter)
